What do we do for you?

We run your websites, email, databases, filespace and spam filtering
For every email you receive, we've filtered out between 20 and 60 spam emails. This number is rising.
We run a webmail service, allowing you to collect your email anywhere
We backup your data, so that if things go badly wrong we can always restore from backup.
We've upgraded the OS on the server 4 times, and the hardware twice, over the last 5 years.
We run weblogs, personal sites, diving sites, warcraft sites, music shops, education sites, and much more.
We have cheerfully fixed and advised on many of the sites we host and will continue to be just a phone call away!

Money, you say?

We run this service (websites, email, spam filtering, databases, sms weblogs, etc) for over 120 people ( 8 years and counting!) without charging you a penny :) This is a call for donations. We're asking for some help towards keeping this service going, for you and for your friends.

At present we're adding around three websites and five email accounts a month to the server.

This new machine is in a facility in Manchester Science Park, at a cost of £800/year. As from 2006, donations kept this service going, many thanks to all who donated. Data costs are rising and keeping the network secure and up to data will require ongoing donations. Here's where you can help.

How do I send you cash?

We have setup a paypal account to take donations, which we hope you, our good community of users will contribute to. You can use the button below to make a paypal payment to admin@chrispyfur.net. This way we can keep going, keep filtering your spam, running your sites and keeping you on the intar-nets.

What if I'm a tight-fisted ingrate?

The alternative to receiving enough donations is that we begin charging everybody a fixed sum per-year per-domain, which we may well have to do if the donations do not cover our costs, or our costs start to rise. We would prefer not to do this as it's a right pain to have to handle billing and debt collection, so we're relying on your goodwill and generosity to help out.
